Honeybees

They are fixtures in our garden

By Seema PatelPublished 9 months ago 1 min read

I have a backyard garden

which blooms flowers year-round.

mint, mustard, hollyhock,

arugula, globe artichoke

Coreopsis, desert sunflower

nasturtium, chilli, larkspur

and so many more.

Honeybees visit

to collect nectar and pollen.

Such joy to see them—

hovering from flower to flower,

covered in yellow powder

with pollen baskets on their thighs.

We stay silent

and listen to the buzz—

such meditative peace!

They are tiny,

but such role models.

Hard work and dedication

their life philosophy.

So proud to create

a pollinator garden

and serve the honeybees!

So glad bees are doing well and you have the environment in which they can thrive.
