“The Return”

It took me awhile but I came back; I returned,…

Returned home years after to reclaim my abandoned crown,

Returned home years after finding,…me.

Years, that’s what it took to discover expression, appreciation,…devotion.

After years, I have found that Mother Nature gives the rain for moisture.

After years, I have found that Mother Nature sends the wind for style.

After years, I have found that Mother Nature gives the humidity for definition.

.. This way I’d never forget.

The return taught me to never, ever forget.

After years, I found that it was ok to live for “the wild.”

Years, it took to realize that it was just a phase,.. a break rather,…

Reminding myself that I didn’t “go,”… I simply returned.
