Destination unknown

By Brittany JeanPublished 4 years ago 1 min read
Somewhere in Kentucky 💙

When fireflies light up the garden

Another spirit will roam

Home is a whisper in the wind

Calling to places unknown

Home is old, Home is new

Home is the mountains

Climbing to the best view

Home is begging to chase a dream or two.

Home has been a hostage,

Held up and held down

She yearns to break her bondage

Home will soon wear the crown.

Entrancing, Embracing

When someone speaks of home.

She’s both where you’ve come from

And where you want to go.

Home is neither here nor there

In the soul, where she roams.

Home is where the heart is.

Who do you call home.?
