Home is Where MY Heart is
Home is where my heart is Its where all my ducks are in a row Even if the dishes aren’t all clean And the sinks a little bit overflowed

Home Is Where My Heart Is
Home is where my heart is
Its where all my ducks are in a row
Even if the dishes aren’t all clean
And the sinks a little bit overflowed
Home is where my heart is
I can certainly tell you that
Even if my arms look like I’m suicidal
Because of the love bites from my cat
Home is where I go for peace and quiet
If ever it falls just right
Home is where I imagine my greatest dreams
Before I fall asleep at night
Home is where I grow my garden
Until the animals find it there
Funny how it only takes one night
For the whole land to be bare
Home is where I sit and plot
My most devilish of plans
Until good sense rolls on in
And safety is restored to all man
Home is where I got that phone call
The one I’ll never forget
And home is where I had that long cry
That I haven’t told anyone about yet
I used to think home was wherever my partner was
And all's I would ever need is them
But now I see that all I need is me
Any strays that look up to me, and friends
If you're lucky enough to have a family
Then your truly lucky indeed
You have more kisses, more tasks
More arguing, more laughs
It seems every man frets over his path
But I’ve seen every kind of person succeed
I have a shirt that says home is where my heart is
And now it’s obvious to me
Home is wherever I am, and wherever that is
I will make everyone feel at home around me
