Hold on, Hold onto me
Don’t let me go
Take a deep breath, make it steady, make it slow
You’re stronger than you know,
Just don’t let go
Stronger than this storm.
Remember to dig deeper with your roots
Don’t be discouraged as the leaves tremble and fall,
Just remember this is not the end,
But merely a season.
Take a deep breath,
Make it steady, make it slow
Your naked limbs may be rigid and cold,
But when it's time, you'll be cozy and warm
Perhaps healing is found within the tears shed from clouds,
You are not invincible, nor are you weak,
I know that life places burdens on our chests
But hold up your shield of bark,
That's why we grow rings, to replace our fragility
Although you'll bend in the wind,
Your resilient within,
Just hold on, hold on
Have the faith of a mustard seed,
Only then will you grow beyond your wildest dreams
But until then,
Take a deep breath,
Make it steady, make it slow
Hold on dear one, and
Don’t let go.
