His Reflections On A Winter Day
He felt peace.

He woke up and saw the snowflakes fall.
They glistened on the trees which were tall.
Snow on the ground was fluffy and white.
It was such a calm and peaceful sight.
As he took a brisk walk in the snow,
Footprints he saw wherever he'd go.
Branches and rooftops -- no longer bare;
Wafts of smoke from chimneys filled the air.
Nearby he heard kids shout with delight
As they engaged in a snowball fight.
He knew the children were having fun
Making snowmen, playing in the sun.
He closed his eyes and heard the birds sing.
Each one of them had frost on each wing.
Clouds filled with ice crystals way up high,
And some gray clouds appeared in the sky.
