His Darkest Side

He drew me in. I begged to stay

His Darkest Side

His darkest side drew me in for a kiss,

No warning, no mercy, only this,

A moment stolen, fierce and tight,

A shadowed thrill in the absence of light.

He lives in a world where nothing is fair,

Where no woman lingers, no one dares care.

He takes what he wants, leaves nothing behind,

An evil kind of pleasure, cruelly designed.

I knew the risk, still I stayed,

Drawn to the danger, unafraid.

Some hearts crave ruin, not rescue or grace,

And he is the hunger I couldn’t erase.

He never softened, never explained,

Left me guessing, bruised and drained.

But still I’d run when he’d appear—

A warning dressed in something near.

He’d whisper lies as if they were vows,

Hands on skin, never asking how.

I learned to ache without a sound,

To lose myself when he was around.

Each time I swore I’d walk away,

But want and fear both chose to stay.

He broke, I bent, and called it fate,

A twisted love I couldn’t hate.
