Highway of Your Hands

I feel my heart speeding on the highway of your hands.

World’s endless, taxing demands,

they didn’t even matter anymore,

I saw them for what they were - a cruddy chore,

to be fair,

I paid my share.

But then, love’s spark…

It was a lightning bullet opportunity train,

and I was a hobo full of hope.

Who says we have to be practical,

when love feels really strong and magical?

Will you ride this train with me over the edge of the Grand Canyon?

Will you meet me in London where all the people collaborate?

Can we kayak near Japan’s beach shore?

Can we scuba dive near Australia’s ocean floor?

Aww... Those questions are super cute and fun. A dream-like situation but with the positivity of 'Should we?'... Loved the poem šŸ‘āœØ
