Hidden

Unseen color

Deep

Inside

A snowdrop bloom

Green stripes flare outward

A vibrant star

Hidden inside

The shy

Head

In the

Smallest places.

I find color - vivid

But almost hidden

Intricate detail and

Life glowing in

Unlooked for

Places

At twilight

Calming grey

Suffuses the world

Draining peach, gold and

Crimson in the west

Subtle purple glows

Among the

Muteness

My favorite

Flowers hide

In meadow grasses

Small and shrinking

Scilla and ground ivy

Colors brighter in

A field of

Green

Rainbows

Often hide

Unseen in prisms

Like glass, I often fade

Into the background

But, a prism, still

Can shine

A rainbow
