Can You Send Help?

Hi, it’s me

The only time I talk to God, is when I need a favor.

I can’t recall the last time he replied.

I’m running low on excuses for my very bad behavior

I think he may be fed up with the lies

*

The last time I called out to him, I had agreed to getting married

I asked him please, to help my wandering eyes

But, silent he stayed as to my room, another girl, I carried

To find my love there, waiting to surprise

*

A warning maybe you could send,

some sign of disapproval- miraculously - bring it to an end

Yet, I whisper wishes to the sky, a hope of sins removal

But no response, wallah, I’m here again
