Hi ... I'm BLACK
In light of all the racial uproar and discrimination around the world. I have something to say, HI ... I'M BLACK.... โ๐พ#BlackLivesMatter #BeingBlackIsNotACRIME #BLM

Hi ... I'm BLACK!
Yes as you can see from the colour of my skin I am deeply enriched with melanin. Black and proud, gifted, talented, a wealth of culture and heritage, power and excellence, resilience & heart. I am black, but before my race I am Human. You would think that that would be a no brainer but I guess not.
According to you I am lesser than, always have been, always will be so for that reason from the conception of my existence, I am taught to contort myself for your acceptance with no resistance. And to be honest I do that pretty well.
My hair is too wild for you?.... dont worry I got you ... perm or wigs which one do you prefer?
My nose too wide for you ? ... dont worry I can contour that for you!!
My skin too dark for you? ... dont worry I can lighten that for?
My name (ADEBISI) too hard for you? Dont worry I can shorten it for you -- call me Bisi. Oh you cant pronounce it ... calm ... call me BC ... better yet ... I have an english name ... call me Vivian! Viv, that works right!
My accent and mannerisms too much for you ... dont worry i can switch up for you .. "Good Afternoon Sir/Madam, thank you for calling ..."
You would think all those changes would be enough for you ... but it seems not. Something about me still poses a threat to you, so much so that since the 15th century you've been perpetuating your fear upon me as superior oppression.
But why? Why are you so afraid of me?? It must be because my genetic composition sets me apart from you. I run faster than you, I jump higher than you, my brain works different to you, the rythm and beat I move and create to - you struggle with, I age finer than you. That must be why you fear me, I mean feel inferior to me and will do whatever it takes to disguise that inferiority as superiority.
But regardless, I serve you, I clean you, I teach you, I care for you, I feed you, I ENTERTAIN YOU and yet you still fear/hate me.
Its funny though because you hate me so much but you try soo hard to be like me. I mean you've been begging it from time G.
When you take my rythm and sound that are so deeply rooted in the adversities my people have endured, you aren't afraid then.
When you take my fashion sense which you referred to as ghetto or hood but now call it cool & trendy, you aren't afraid then.
When you take my hairstyles that were once nappy & didn't make you happy, but now call it innovative & high fashion, you aren't afraid then.
When you inject yourself with chemicals to fill & plump yourself to attain my features which you once ridiculed and clowned, you aren't afraid then.
But when I am walking home in a hoody with skittle, you're afraid
When I am out for a jog, you are afraid
When I am out for a drive with my family, you are afraid
When I am in my home, you are afraid
When I am laying on the ground, handcuffed, screaming that i cant breath, my stomach hurts, my neck hurts, everything hurts, you are "afraid"
Day in day out, you MURDER ME. At night or in broad daylight, you disregard my life. You treat me less than an animal and you get let off. No disciplinary, no conviction no nothing, if i'm lucky you might lose your job!
But losing your job is nothing compared to the loss of lives of my brothers & sisters, the battle we have to fight in our minds, the sorrow you have caused in our hearts.
It is exhausting, we are TIRED! But what can we do, protests dont do it, rallies dont do, #BlackLivesMatters doesn't seem to be doing it. So what can we do?
Oh we should go back home?? Aww yeah that would be nice, but you stole me from home to come and build the civilisation that you now call home, so this home is the only home many of us know as home.
So again. I ask what can we do? And to be honest i dont know? We have SLAVED been PEACEFUL, FOUGHT BACK, SUFFERED, we have DIED. We've done it all so its not down us now. Its down to YOU!
What can YOU do? Well if you aren't the you that i have been speaking about then you need to RISE UP, SPEAK OUT, CALL OUT & PULL UP to fight this fight with us. Things wont change until you do.
RIP to all my brothers and sisters that have lost their lives in this battle, we mourn you but know that the fight is not over. A day is coming when Humanity will come before race and being black will not be a crime. The day will come.
Hi .... I'm BLACK!
