Dear mom,
I just wanted to take a moment to look back and remember an easier time.
I didn’t know it then, but today, it is unmistakably clear to me that I have been incredibly blessed. I had a mother that loved me and mine more than we deserved. You were playful and silly, kind and generous.
I know you had your faults and struggles, you worried and stressed about life. But through it all, you were gracious and ornery.
I love you with all of my heart.
I have become acutely aware that I miss you more than I could have ever imagined, and I am somewhat regretful for the moments I let slip by me. But more than that, I have big shoes to fill. To love my girls/family with the passion you did. To show grace and mercy when it isn’t easy.
I loved this woman and I miss her every single day.
Thank you, mom, for loving me so well and leaving me with big shoes and the directions to fill them.
I can’t wait to see you again ❤️👩❤️👩
