dream or fallacy?

Seems we’re always selling something,
doesn't need to be the truth.
The one thing you can count on is,
it’s different, from your point of view.
A smile hides a hundred sins,
you can’t see what’s hiding there inside.
When nothing is ever what it seems,
a lie can take you for a ride.
When things get to getting bad,
make believe seems a fair escape.
To give up everything you have,
could be your costliest mistake.
So, let Dorothy’s story be a lesson,
no matter how far you may roam,
If it’s fantasy you’re messing (with)
reality is, there is no place like home.
