Polluting the streets

killing our young brothers

do you know what it is like to lose a loved one? No, it’s all about the paper, the cake and guap.

Never even taking a second

for second thought I wish for a day; my pain was your pain

I wish you had to walk around and miss someone you loved

because, he didn’t die peacefully

He was out right taken from me !!!

You can run

You can hide

You won’t get far

there is no place to go where you cannot be found

whether it be guilt or lack of compassion someday your sins will amass you.

Torn down by guilt. You will beg for forgiveness.

Although, none will be given

where was this compassion when my brother got drugs from you

yeah ,you’re right

Right now as of right now at this very second I don’t know the whole picture but I’m a big picture kind a girl

slowly but surely and eye for an eye has to apply

except my brother will be in the ground yet, you will just wish you were

About the Creator

Breanicia Turner

I recently lost a brother to addiction. Writing is my creative outlet. It allows me to be there for people; I normally could not be there for. My words are the way I heal. Although I know this is a wound that will never heal.
