Her Love of Diamonds
Just a mask to hide her sadness

Her Love of Diamonds
She wears the night in crystal chains,
A veil of light, a crown of rain.
Each drop a whisper, cold and bright,
Falling soft in silver sight.
Chains of brilliance kiss her skin,
A cage of light she glories in.
Lips like fire, fierce and bold,
A heart untold, a touch so cold.
frozen tears in jeweled streams
Guard the weight of quiet dreams.
She walks where darkness fears to tread,
Wrapped in whispers, softly spread.
She loves the stars, the sharp, the clear,
The fractured light of love sincere.
Yet even diamonds, sharp and bright,
Cannot unveil her endless night.
