A Clash of Colors

Pumping, racing, breathing

Red pulses momentarily freezing

Running, ragged, breathless

Purple crazy madness

Moody, lagging, selfish

Ugly blue flashes

Warming, caring, dreamy

Yellow splashes sleepy

Buzzing, moving, changing

Orange summers waning

Laughing, yelling, weeping

Pink kindness keeping

Spinning, turning, drowning

Black holes doubting

Poking, shouting, screaming

Darkness slowly creeping

Grayness peeking through

Cloud clearing views

Reaching, trying, failing

Broken pieces wailing

Flowers slowly blooming

Colors start self-soothing

Silent tears are dripping

Mended puzzles clicking

Warming, spreading, filling

Red pulses stilling…

Heart of many dances

Head of many colors

Clashing, colliding, tie-dye

Let the heart rest where the head may lie.
