Help Me Find You

Eternal Search

By The Girl in GreyPublished 6 years ago 1 min read

Dark mast cast into a sky of gold and aquamarine.

Which way do you care to travel tonight?

Whether its too Hope's creek or the Shepard's sea.

Let all the aurora showers wash away the cries of the night.

The beaten and the damned need a face.

A symbol of eternal life, or something like that.

They need shoes made of iron to run the Twisted dimension's race.

May they have all the chances I never got to have.

Sometimes I'm beyond the ship or gazing up.

Praying that I can finally take my own seat.

Torn ligaments and sprained wrists; it's still not enough.

I want to be able to see and be seen.

Show me the hidden stars secretly made of silver and pink.

Breath into me spear mints and a spray of opal dust.

Turn my eyes white and don't let the carrier sink.

Please stay true to me and don't betray my trust.

However small or might be, show me You're here.

Give me even the slightest sign.

Collapses to my knees as the close-minded sneered.

Right now, stale bread, meat and flavorless shells are all I can find.

Love always,

Chayle
