Help I fell. My Chair tipped

That was with sitting too close to the edge

Help I fell. My Chair tipped

One moment sat on my reclining chair

Next, it tipped, I fell forward.

I couldn’t get up. Oh god help me.

Hubby panicked. I am a big girl.

No way could I put pressure on my knees.

Arthritis is horrible. I panicked,

Felt like I couldn’t breathe.

Thought about it, two soft pillows.

hubby got them. It worked for knees.

I made it up onto the settee.

Embarrassed now, legs hurt more.

Strict diet from tomorrow for me.

Felt like shit and was upset, shaking.

Tomorrow’s for real, no mistaking.

A diet day every day, lessons learned.

My wake-up call woke me up.

Lesson learned the hard way I bet. Good job on the poem and the realization.
