Hello Winter

And goodbye summer

By Nicole ChevrierPublished 5 years ago 1 min read

Hello winter.

Goodbye summer.

Hello crisp air and frost on the lawn.

Goodbye hot sun beating on.

Hello dark evenings beginning in the afternoon.

Goodbye sun who stays out until past 9.

Hello crackling fire pit and hot chocolate mugs.

Goodbye waves crashing on the beach shore.

Hello snowy nights and winter crafts.

Goodbye wearing a tank top all hours of the day.

Now what season do you prefer?

We welcome a new season and say goodbye to the opposite.

Summer and winter, so hot, so cold,

And yet we love being outside for both.

Tan in the sun or build a snowman?

Soon, goodbye winter and hello summer.
