Mind talk

On a solo walk around Toowong I have no photography subject in mind for enquiry.

As I walk down Cadell Street I turn and take a photo of a fence and a hedge.

I am confused by my mind talk.

I appreciate the visual impact, but I wonder: ‘Why constrain what was meant to be free?’

I search for those that break the barriers and reach for life behind the confines.

I am thankful for those given permission.

Those striving remind me of resilience.

I return home with nature tokens.

My lesson? My mind will one day break through the confines to freedom ...
