Hecate, My Divine
A letter at the crossroads

I'm seeking your galvanic guidance, Hecate
Planetary alignments come and cower as you
Count their curses... one... two... thrice is
The omen 🖤
Here I stand on salted ground, earth as the
Antithetical lush of green envy
To your incursive blood-red bedizened orb
In a sky starved of stars 💫
I wax and wane in wan hope, wan stall
My lunation stutt-tt-tt-ers
To have or to hold, wolfskin helpmeet? 🐺
Love may never elope on my carnelian cards
So, Soteira, bless me with your strength
Imbued with cursed confidence 🩸

As an ascending anathema to the societal
E-x-p-e-c-t-a-t-i-o-n 👁
Coupledom countered with psychopomp
And self-assured supermoon pep providence
| To | Simply | Exist | 💀
In this fucked up wergild world of ours
Charmed are YOU
An onlooker, caste in firebrand liminality
Never embroiled, nor embattled 🔥
You pull Zodiac strings like a Zarathustra
Strumming twelve horoscopic heads
With eucharistic ease
Christ, where is he? Fabled and fawned! ⛪️
Yet you are real, thus my exhortation
Fall on Hecate's sixth sensing
Six ears.

Love this, love Hecate. She comes into play in some of my work, which centers on Persephone.
Blessed be
This is mesmerising. I love the blend of mythology, mysticism, and modern defiance.
