Winter Craze

People do not know the history of a grand,

Grocery store,

Set in Abilene times,

An old Texas city of grand design,

It was a winter's day,

Back in 1941,

A man named Howard walked into the picture,

Simpleton to say the least,

He had one mission,

To become awesome,

To spread joy all around him,

And to hide the fact that his last name was Butts,

Must have had a rough childhood,

Call in the guards,

Spread the news around town,

Praise the day that he did not,

Have to fart,

Or eat spicy beans,

Always a plus,

Bye.

This made me laugh so much! I lived in and around Austin, TX for over 20 years! I miss those HEB stores a lot!!! Mr. Butts had it going on and wiped Albertson's off the map. Now I want a Whataburger...lol
