Even Angels Make Mistakes

Mistakes are lessons

not punishments

Even angels make mistakes

Lucifer

The Bringer of Light

God's beloved angel

Fell to the darkness

when he craved power

above god

Upheld his ego

by waging a war

against those he loved

He thought winning

a battle of pride

would make him powerful

One is neither above or below

what flows through us all

To make that mistake

is a disgrace to us all

It lures those humbled by light

to lust for the devil's gratification

The itch to scratch

the pain of failure

with something

that voids you

from actually facing it

An inviting detriment

that incinerates the lesson

with hell's firey sensation

Even angels make mistakes

Learn to accept mistakes

with grace

Then when you fall

you can get up again

look at yourself

forgive

and learn the lesson
