Driving Miss Daisy for her last ride,
Covered in flowers and tears I cried,
She is my best friend of 14 years,
Always there for me in fun and fears,
We travelled beaches and parks,
Ate food, swam, laughs and barks,
Always there for me with a loving heart,
A part of me died when you had to depart,
For I have never had a friend like you,
Honest, reliable, joyful and true,
You showed all you met about love,
Hope in your eyes, now from the Heavens above,
I am lost now in what to think and say,
For you Peace and Love I do pray,
You are now free to run,
With who you know, have fun.
See you on the other side Daisy my friend,
Until I see you again, then my heart will mend.
Miss Daisy, I will miss driving you.
