Heaven

A Love Poem

By Mark StonePublished 11 months ago • 1 min read

She is the sunlight in my day,

The brightest star which lights my way.

When other sources cease their beacons to maintain,

Her fire dances boldly against the rain.

Through cloud and cold, her welcome ray

Bursts unheeding of the gray,

To warm and bless this darkling heart

By way of that most beauteous art:

Her love, which magnified in me, glows anew,

No less than heaven to my view.
