Inward turmoil. Aching within Storm clouds gathering Threatening to upend Threatening to destroy An uneasy peace and ceasefire

Seeking to tear apart, rend and scatter Seeking destruction and confusion Refusing to yield or give ground Unwilling to raise the flag of peace

Eschewing dialogue Battle ready and itching for war Damning consequences and amicable solutions Seeking turbulence and trouble

Seeking justice for wounded pride and heartbreak Yearning for retribution for an unearned injustice Hoping evil upon those who wronged me Yet asking God for the grace not to follow

Praying God help my consuming anger Give strength and help for the morrow As I await your justice, judgement and advocacy
