Heart's Violin

A Poem about Love

By Wendolyn WalkerPublished 5 years ago 1 min read

The heart's violin plays a wondrous melody,

A simple tune that spans long distances,

Brick walls crumble beneath with the impact,

As it penetrates the heart of another,

Surrounded by the melody, every day is brighter,

Every sound is clearer, every scent sharper,

Oh, what a marvelous tune is played,

That lifts us high above the clouds,

And heightening all of one's senses,

Sheltering us oftentimes from tortuous small evils,

Healing us of the past's deepened wounds,

Spirits raised as tune radiates through embodiment,

Then, tune embedded heart plays the song,

And once again, a marvelous tune spans out,

As the heart's violin plays a wondrous melody.
