Isn't it fascinating,

How the heart works,

It's fragile at moments,

And impenetrable at times,

It knows your every desire,

Too much, entirely to your ire,

It's able to love boundless,

And capable of hiding it, too,

How fascinating,

I think of this heart of mine,

That resides within me,

And decides to beat for you.
