I thought I had healed,

Oh, what a lie that I believed,

I hoped against hope for it to be true,

One look and that's all it took,

I was back to my broken self,

How dare you make me this person,

The kind that wished to cease from existing,

Or to be everything you ever wanted,

I couldn't believe this self of mine,

That would dance on every tune you played,

On a field of flowers or cracked glass,

I didn't want to believe this self of mine,

That couldn't even imagine someone else taking your place.

In this bleeding heart of mine.
