You live in my mind,

Never age a day.

I won’t leave you behind,

In my thoughts you stay.

From toddling tot,

To moody teen.

No phase is forgot,

They’re always seen.

Riding sleds downhill,

Every single Winter.

The memories are still,

And stuck like a splinter.

Us drinking hot chocolate,

Watching a Christmas movie.

These moments I want to isolate,

All the times you were so happy.

___________________________

Snowball fights with friends,

Some I can’t remember.

Everything about them blends,

All in my mind together.

Forever a child,

A wild little guy.

So easily riled,

I just want to cry.
