Have A Rest

Then Carry On

By Ruth Elizabeth StiffPublished about 2 hours ago 1 min read
Refresh then carry on

“If you get tired,

learn to rest,

not quit.”

When we are physically tired,

we sit down and rest our bodies.

Why should it be any different

for us mentally?

One of the best examples of this

is when a mother is giving birth.

She gets so tired

but rests between pushes

and she never ‘quits’.

The ‘reward’ of not giving up

is a beautiful baby,

boy or girl.

Anything we do in life is no different!

When we are working towards something

and we get tired,

just rest and then carry one.

Your ‘reward’

will be seeing your hard work

become a reality,

and how proud you will feel

to see what you have accomplished.

You will become stronger,

more determined

and

resilient in life.

Taking a breather

will give you time

to see how well you have done

and

to think about your next step

on your journey in life.

LIVE AND LOVE LIFE!
