An electrical storm came late one October night

Filling the chilled air around with a static charge

And blocking the Hunter’s moon’s reflected light

Emitting an eerie, supernatural virulent discharge

Glowing unnaturally, silencing the frightened wildlife

A low vibration begins, accompanied by steady pulsing

An unearthly screech ridden with paranormal strife

The Wraiths lure souls while they demonically sing

Calling to them all who are lost, that they may be prey

The conductor stands watch, always ready to be a guide

To any casualty who has forgotten how to kneel and pray

An army of ghouls, comprised of criminals who died

Waiting for the conductor to pass along the boss’s orders

Satan’s engineer, who led them all to this spectral hell

The crashed train, an eldritch portal to Abaddon’s borders

The only warning, the ghostly sound of the tolling bell
