Harvested Work

Life’s soundtrack

By Rowan Finley Published 2 years ago 1 min read

kissed everyone

a great reset

to get

or receive

reprieve

for the world at large

with no charge

except a life and soul

that took the toll

paid the price

to suffice

said it all

some were appalled

so many faces

for all the world’s races

they ran

they wrote

they reaped

they kept

He wept

they went by boat

remembering

teeming with life

spiritually

eternally

now some stand

or ever-disband

from their soul

sings their acts

facts

and more

what’s in store

the books will

till

the soil

and

toil of lifetime

signs

and crimes

and replay

on reckoning Day
