Harvest praise.
A Didactic Cinquain Gathering.

Praises,
ode sung to Joy
for the abundant grace
and blessings this harvest season
gathered.
~~~~~~
Poem 2
May we
be ever blessed
with abundant harvest
giving thanks to our creators
Amen!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Didactic Cinquain
Farmer
Hunter, gatherer
planting, toiling, caring
hoping for plentiful yield
Cultivator.
~~~~~~
Moonrise
Silver bloom
Rising, ripening, glowing
Lighting fields, quiet grace
Witness
~~~~~~
Scarecrow
Stillness. Watching
Guarding, grinning, waiting
Crows scatter from shadow
Effigy
~~~~~~~
Threshing
Steady pace
Swinging, sifting, singing
Grain released golden husk
Labor
~~~~~~~
Harvest
Golden yield
Ripening, gathering, praising
Filling baskets, feeding hearts
Gratitude
~~~~~~~
Offering
Silent tears
Gathering, laying, blessing
Fruits upon ancient altar
Worshipful.
Inspiring and beautiful. Great job, Antoni!
Who knew there were so many different ways to write poetry...free form is my favorite, why complicate it so much, still it makes poetry so much more interesting, I love the short forms here though, so lovely.
This was so wonderful. Loved it!
What a beautiful way to describe this season of Thanksgiving. Good job.
