Planet of Music and Light

The stars of night blend into the sky like fragments of jet stone While a mass of greasy crude devours the light of day. Harmony, the Planet of Music and Light Harbors a heavily guarded secret within A seemingly desolate wasteland.

Only those with unbounded souls, Christened with a passion for its true form May partake in the true enchantment that is Harmony.

For these privileged few, Rather than a lifeless void of blackness, Harmony boasts a vibrant array of illustrations In lieu of clouds or stars.

A tapestry of music-inspired figures illuminate The skies much like fireworks do; Only never do they dissolve into smoke and cinder. They linger as forms of saxophones, trumpets, Cellos, drum sets, quarter notes, treble clefs And other classical, new-age, or jazz-related figures.

An entire orchestra of symphonic splendor Echoes throughout the unique terrain Of Harmony's beautifully hued streets and corridors. The gentle breezes, which waft through thick Crowds of natives produce a melodic euphoria.

No inhabitant leaves home without an instrument. They stroll along the routes synchronizing, Harmonizing, or simply improvising with the Gallant chorus of the wind.

Far beyond the entourage of musical activity Lies a tiny passage, which leads to a fountain Bathed in a mysterious golden aura. Here is where the inhabitants of Harmony Dispel their deepest desires.

The ritual begins with the individual tossing A piece of the planet's currency into the water, Then chants his or her wish aloud.

If the wish is to be granted, The Princess of Harmony appears. She is a beautiful young woman draped in a dress of pure light. She will be playing a golden flute.

After ceasing her hypnotic sonata, She will turn to the hopeful who had made the wish; Smile, flash her lustrous gold-rimmed eyes, and vanish. Then, in three days' time, the wish will come true.

Anyone with a spirit emanating with light may witness The unrivaled beauty of Harmony; or be seduced by the enthralling Rhapsody of this mysterious spellbound land. Those who do not possess this light will see only darkness.

Angela Dykhuis

Hello, I'm Angie. I am a soul not of this world reincarnated many times. In this lifetime, my brain is a mess; however, I see beauty in all things. I use what I see to paint pictures with words. They are the fragments of a broken mind.
