Harlie's Comet

There once was a comet as bright as the sun
A girl in the meadow having some fun
Hop goes the bunny, swoop goes the eagle
Here comes the fox chasing the beagle
The stars so bright, the moon so large
The girl starts running with a full charge
A flash of bright light left behind
She ran so fast, what could she find?
The star vanished in the night sky
She knew it was time to say goodbye
The day had come on a Friday night
She knew it was time to show her mite
Pretty blue eyes, what can she see
The world ahead of her
She will be all she can be
