Happy Valentines!!

For those who have no valentine.

No rose and smile to greet you at the door,

Fear NOT dear one I whisper

There’s a love more important for sure.

Look down to your shoes and marvel

And be grateful for who you are,

For the love of oneself

Is so much more important by far.

So, pick a rose in the garden

A little daisy by the kerb

And know value is not held in a valentine

But the deep whisper within that’s heard.

Stand and hold that rose that daisy

And look up into the sky above,

Self love is the cry of the universe

The first and greatest of love.

Be grateful for where you stand

And hear the words of my beautiful mother

Tis best to stand alone in love

Than to stand without love with another.
