My dear Father has four sisters
I'm so lucky to have four aunties
All four of them are very gifted
Their personality comes in varieties

First, we have Auntie Thiruchelvy
Her heart is as soft as the cloud
Even if her burdens are so heavy
She will never complain out aloud

Next, we have Auntie Thilagavathy
She is the epitome of discipline
Her diet is always so healthy
And her siblings call her Cheen
~~~
Auntie Vasanthi is in line next
To all of us, she's definitely a role model
If you need a lawyer, she's the best
Her achievements can be written into a novel
~~~
Lastly, we have Auntie Arputhamani
Whenever we get to meet each other
Everything would suddenly seem so funny
We would always be bursting with laughter
~~~
I would like to wish all four of you
To experience a very Happy Mother's Day
An 'I Love You' from me has been long overdue
May God make all your problems go away

Auntie Thiruchelvy Sounds so lovely. Especially the example she's setting by not complaining out loud, even if her burdens are heavy. I loved this! My father had five sisters who are all gone now (so is he, along with all of his brothers). One of his sisters was like a second mother to me and I was close with all the others. I was also like a second mother to my nephew. I love that you wrote a Mother’s Day poem to them. Not everyone understands how important non-immediate family bonds can be.
