Happy Birthday

(I came across this photo on Unsplash and the first two lines came to me. It would be rude not to complete it 😇

softness dripping from satin folds

his hands caress this gift bestowed

awaiting the touch of fingers bold

beneath these layers of material gold

.

beside this gift he reverently kneels

the golden wrapping he slowly peels

excitement flows with all good feels

this present moment never felt so real

.

already his face is hot and flushed

his smile coy and cheeks blushed

he whispers softly, his voice hushed

this moment isn’t to be rushed

.

for beneath these layers of material gold

awaits a perfection to behold

his hands caress this gift bestowed

softness dripping from satin folds
