Sadness lingers in my heart
Happiness seems to have depart
Where am I to go to find
A little bit of peace of mind
Shall I wallow in my tears
Faith give way to my fears
Close my eyes and see nothing
Or let my heart rejoice and sing
Maybe happiness is not for me
But find that goodness look and see
Where's my heart is it filled with good
Am I doing all I could
Hopes and prayers are empty thoughts
Without deeds to connect the dots
Fill the air with love and hospitality
Peeking in is that feeling of happy
Go ahead and give it all
Don't hold back you will not fall
Make that change for once and all
It's in your mind it is your call
It all comes back around to you
Happiness makes your heart anew
You see it was always hiding there
Happiness comes when you truly care

If You Love Me, You'll Do It
I met Jason when I was five years old. I could say that I loved him from the moment I saw him. He was so handsome to me and I felt in awe by his presence. When they introduced him as the new kid in school, I wanted to be his friend right away. I remember it like it was yesterday. I remember his smile and how he didn't seem shy. He appeared confident and ready to learn. I waved at him and said "hello," before anyone else could even say a word. He sat next to me, and I asked him if he wanted to be friends. He looked so happy as he said, "Yes!"
