Happiness and Joy

A poem

True happiness comes and in an instant is gone

And again we search for and chase happiness our whole lives long

In this restless search for moments that will never stay

We overlook the little things, the little joys that help us along the way

The little joys in life

Are our contempt in strife

Over the journey, if we are wary to enjoy everything in life

The world is like a dark night,

But each person brings a light

Imagine each good little thing that brings you joy makes your light ever bright

True happiness will come and go

But one thing I know comes to pass

A million little joys like squirrels hopping in the grass

Add up and make days brighter, though through darkness we all will pass

Until those days of happiness and sunlight come like a victory at last

:)Remember to smile today! :)
