Hand In Hand At Ten

Childhood's Delight Dance

By Judith AkabsPublished 2 years ago 1 min read

In childhood's sunlit realm, we danced as ten-year-old hearts,
Our innocence a canvas, where young love took its start.
He took my hand, a trembling leap, the world began to unfold,
In fleeting moments, we found a love both tender and bold.

His fingers clasped mine, timid and sweet,
An enchanting embrace, where innocence would meet.
Through giggles and games, we learned love's gentle art,
A memory cherished, etched upon my heart.

The first time he held my hands, a bond so pure and true,
In those fleeting seconds, a love story took its cue.
Time may have passed, and we've grown apart,
But that touch, that moment, forever captured in my heart.
