Hamlet's Sin

Should we fight fire with fire?

Vengeance, a form of justification we created,

Grabbed by us and molded into something pleasing to the eye,

Because of the way we see it we think the harms are worth the reason.

A man will bury his mind in the sand, submitting to insanity,

For it.

Winds of chaos will blind an avengers eyes with sand,

Because of it.

With no sight, the avenger becomes desperate to see again.

Desperate for this suffering to have a result worth it.

With a mind lost in the sand, the only way to find it is to finish what’s started.

To justify the pursuit of this vengeance.

The mind will only sink deeper over time, till it’s forever out of reach.

Scared of sacrificing himself for nothing the avenger will do anything to get his vengeance.

His love will die for blind vengeance

His mother will die for blind vengeance

His friends will die for blind vengeance

He will die, with a depraved soul,

Because his tears will clear the sand in his eyes.

He will see the price of blind vengeance,

A price so overwhelming that he finds his mind, he now feels and sees,

nothing but distraught.

He curses what he sought.

His last breath won’t ever come out,

It will stay inside trying to hold in a wail of crying.

Death takes him, with burning pain and sin forever trapped inside his soul.

For that is the universe's justice,

The universe's vengeance to victims, from a blind man's destruction.
