To remember your Ayla, that circle of ethereal, eternal burning light
My brain fine tunes the beam into feverish, crying music
& oh, my God, it’s beyond beautiful
Is the halo that makes up your tenors of gravity
The same that jumps into the gazelle’s eye
In the beats of the daoine sìth
In the climbing vines of the ember frosts
Oh lunar mist, carry me to the heavenly forever
The lowest hanging cloud that carries your ancient song as a wailing banshee
I am not for the likes of you, Selene,
La Luna—-your Halo-Mist captures me in the twilight summers of your birth, death and revival
I churn, I melt, I collapse under your duress
Your anger forever engrained in my bones as the sifting salts as the shifting tides
Is the Halo dripping forgiveness, fear or silence
Such as the same as the Seraphim
Holy, imprints of our maker as an imprint of our finger-prints to a fossil and a perfect circle of light
Your body intimate, the shape of angelic rain, lunate
Do you grow weary as the lunisolar patterns grip you into a soulless arcane vice
How can I dare speak to your spectral intensity as a goddess to an
Ant
To a pebble, a spec
A humanly frozen halo of crushed ribs, bone and light
The loneliness crushes me with every movement you take, La Luna
The sea pulsing, radiating, glowing, darkening—-overflowing, drying as a shallow watery grave
As I hold my love for you as a poison
Salts shifting as your blood red crown sinks me
Sinks me
Sinks me, like a passionless mist that only forms her light
The Halo-Mist
Illusion that found my madness
So hauntingly beautiful as
I close my eyes.
