Halloween Party

“Hear Ye! Hear Ye!”
The blood red sign read
“Come ye live
And come ye dead---
To the Witches Meeting
This Halloween”
And come they did
By twos and by threes
Afoot and aflight
To the eerie, ghostly meeting
On Halloween night
There they sat in council
Witches, ghosts and poltergeists
And talked in hollow whispers
'Til ere it was light
They closed the meeting in ghoulish glee
When all the spirits were agreed
And went back to their haunts
At broom neck speed
For they had decided
What they were going to do
Was spend next Halloween Night
………..with YOU!
