Whispers of Halloween

In the hush of dusk, where shadows creep,

The veil between worlds, so slender, so deep.

Beneath the moon’s watchful, silvery eye,

Halloween whispers, as spirits drift by.

Pumpkins aglow with a mischievous grin,

Carved faces flicker, where tales should begin.

Children in costumes, their laughter takes flight,

As they dance through the streets, on this magical night.

Ghosts in the garden, with secrets to tell,

In the rustling leaves, where the phantoms dwell.

Witches in flight on their broomsticks so high,

Casting their spells 'neath the star-speckled sky.

Cobwebs adorn every door, every tree,

As the air fills with echoes of long-forgotten glee.

The scent of sweet treats wafts through the air,

As trick-or-treaters venture, without a single care.

A night for the brave, for the bold and the free,

To embrace the enchantment of what’s yet to be.

So gather your courage, let laughter resound,

For Halloween’s magic is waiting, unbound.

In tales spun of wonder, in shadows we play,

As the spirits of yore come to dance and to sway.

With each twinkling star, and each flicker of flame,

Halloween beckons us, never quite the same
