Halloween is on the way
allowing for all sorts of scary fun
letting us laugh
letting us scream our delight
occupying our thoughts of what we may be
wearing scary, fun, something in between
entering into fantasy for a night and
exiting reality, a little for safety's sake
noteworthy costumes and all that candy one receives.

Halloween a time
of tricks and treats given to all
who dare to go out.

☺️ Enjoy! We unfortunately don’t celebrate Halloween much in Australia. Some kids go out trick or treating sometimes, and I went to a Halloween party many years ago now and dressed up. Yet overall it’s not as popular over here.
