down we go again...

i dreamt

there was a woman

i didn’t know

in my bed

she looked at me

with a hunger

in her eyes

the walls were alive

with a breathy heat

that pulsed in time

with her sighs

her auburn hair

cascaded around her cheeks

and framed her face

it felt so right

but so wrong

and

out of place

knowing i shouldn’t

i reached out to touch her

she turned into a tangle

of black ribbons and smoke

the ribbons in turn

became long party balloons

they rose to meet a ceiling

that was slowly coming down

and then hung there

thumbing a helium nose at gravity

i sat there indifferent

half-awake in a dream

half asleep in what passes for real

between

this world

and my next

Exquisite and evocative all the e words. And s words too like sensuous and soft as Marie noted. Fine work, mate.

So the habit hole is a rabbit hole. Nice description of a dream. Mixed up dreams. What are they telling us? Nice job.
