In the heart of Punjab, a soul divine,

Born to guide with love benign,

Guru Nanak, the saintly sage,

His words have echoed through every age.

From humble soil, his teachings grew,

A beacon for the seeking few,

In his footsteps, a path of grace,

Uniting hearts in every place.

No caste, no creed, could bind his love,

Equality, his call from above,

He walked the lands with open arms,

Dispelling darkness, easing harms.

With "Ik Onkar," he sang of one,

A universal truth, beneath the sun,

His hymns, a symphony of peace,

In every heart, they find their lease.

He taught of kindness, shared the bread,

The simple truths by which he led,

His life, a mirror for the soul,

In his light, we become whole.

O Nanak, guide us with your flame,

Teach us to love in your name,

In every act, let your spirit flow,

A better world, through love, will grow.

Gratitude
