Keep your Guns and your bullets

Assassin

I have no use for you

I stare in the mirror daily and My only desire is to look like Christ in my reflection

Im not even close

to be honest

all I see is me in my hate and frustration

and my anger

pull it out of me Oh God and fill me with love

cause hate never has changed the world only Love

Booker T Washington said " I will permit no man to narrow and degrade my soul by making me hate him."

he knew

he knew

he knew

that Gods path to freedom is truly to Love your Enemies

I feel a damp chill in the fall air as I walk

I stab my hands in my coat pockets as I think looking this way and that way but mostly in

and I don't like what I see

let whatever isn't Love inside of me die like these leaves are dying as the trees and the ground prepare to give up the ghost to be reborn by the spring

let the last breaths of my old life

silently pass

May I wake up tomorrow and be just a little more Loving Like Jesus was

This is beautiful and I love everything about it. Every life counts, whether we like that person or not. Everyone claims they want peace, and then celebrate when someone is assassinated or harmed. No one deserves to die like that. Not a single person. Great piece.
